At No.54 on the World’s Best Restaurants
list, Lyle’s has been a favourite of
mine since it opened. No trip to London is the same without paying them a
visit. The menu is always interesting, highly seasonal and, most of all, the
dishes are full of flavour.
What Michelin say, “The young chef-owner is an acolyte of Fergus Henderson and delivers
similarly unadulterated flavours from seasonal British produce, albeit from a
set menu at dinner. This pared-down approach extends to a room that's high on
functionality, but considerable warmth comes from the keen young service team.”
