Murmur, Brighton

Nestled in The Arches on Brighton’s seafront with views of the West Pier, Murmur is the sister restaurant to the fabulous 64 Degrees. 




The name Murmur comes from the word murmuration which is the shape that the starlings make when they flock and fly between Brighton’s two piers, with their logo representing the six arches in which the restaurant is located. 


Poole Bay Oysters


Short Rib Skewers 
– braised short rib of beef with mushroom ketchup, dressed cucumber & walnut crumb.


Tagliatelle – fresh pasta with shaved truffle, egg yolk & parmesan


Kokoda – grey mullet cured in coconut milk & lime juice 
served with toasted coconut & spring onion


Murmur Salad – freekeh salad with beetroot, butternut squash, 
red peppers, pulses, dukkah, pumpkin seeds & pomegranate dressing


Lemon Sole – grilled whole with dressed ratte potatoes & herb salad


Dover Sole – grilled whole with dressed ratte potatoes & herb salad


Glazed Lemon Tart with crème fraiche sorbet


Sour Cherry Panna Cotta with yoghurt tuile


Chocolate Raspberry Pudding with vanilla ice cream
