Guinea Grill, London

Guinea Grill is old school. It’s proper.

The steaks are some of the best in London. The pies are some of the best in the world.

On my visit I felt the puddings were a little weak, so my advice is full up on the steak and pies.

Scotch Egg (in the bar)

Half dozen rock oysters

Langoustine & cockles with aioli

Classic prawn cocktail

Rib Steak on the bone (16oz)

Fillet (10oz)

The Guinea Grill
– beef rump, cured pork rashers, ox heart & calf liver with garlic & parsley butter, sausage, lamb cutlet, lamb kidney, fried egg, mushroom & tomato.

Grilled lamb cutlets from the rack

Steak, kidney & mushroom pie

Horseradish mash

Peas, bacon & baby onions

Baked Gruyere creamed spinach

Buttered carrots brunoise

Braised cabbage with pancetta

Chips

Chocolate Fondant

Lemon Tart

Jam Roly Poly with Custard

Crème Brûlée
