Joining Lunya, La Bandera, El Gato Negro,
Ibérica, Bar San Juan, El
Rincon de Rafa, Evuna, (amongst
others), Tapeo and Wine is one of
the newest of Manchester’s many Spanish restaurants… each one has its charms
but, based on my visit, Tapeo has earned its place amongst my faves.
Highlights included the Conejo with its spicy hot oil and the Berenjenas which are always a favourite when visiting my
parents in Andalucia. The only real weak dish was the Merluza which as I found the sauce a little insipid.
