I will always disclose invitations to restaurants from PR companies.
I will always disclose if I dine in a restaurant as ‘the guest of the
chef (or proprietor)’.
I will always disclose ‘comped’ meals or ‘discounts’.
I do not make a habit of letting a restaurant know
when I’ll be dining with them. (However, sometimes I am ‘recognised’ prior to
ordering.)
If complementary items are 'sent by the kitchen', they will be
disclosed on the relevant post.
