I`m sure this will serve well to iron out any teething problems , nipping them in the bud from the outset. The overpowering tartness of the passion fruit in the Prawn cocktail seems to be an issue with a few diners.Personally i love the flavour so look forward to that one. The Pigeon , cherries and foie gras...well i already know that this is going to be a cracking dish as i had the same one in "The Paul" Copenhagen.
Nice touch with the Macaroons with Coffee , i really like that little finishing touch of class.
Looks a nice meal overall and i`ll definitely get down to experience it soon. Cant beleive Aidens cooking style has changed so dramatically since my meal at Hillbark , not even a hint of the food he was cooking only a few years ago.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8413854587296254847.post-14226561035894112272013-09-22T21:36:17.344+01:002013-09-22T21:36:17.344+01:00Goodness.
To be fair, if I was going to visit, I ...Goodness.

To be fair, if I was going to visit, I would only opt for the tasting menu to try and fully understand the ethos & concept of the restaurant.

That said, I fully appreciate that the finest ingredients come at a costly premium, and also the salaries of competent & skilful chefs to turn out dishes like those showcased above isn't cheap. But, to come straight in at London 2* Michelin prices, for a newly opened venture in the north west, is at best very brave, in truth a little bonkers!

I hope they iron out the issues raised in your more than fair reflection. And do so sooner, rather than later. For you can count on one thing for certain, when you charge £95 for a tasting menu, the expectation of the paying guest, will rightly so - be of the highest level. Manchester House has set its own benchmark, time to deliver the goods, big style.

Appreciate your reply in relation to the spend. When I visit, which I will, I'll be sure to feedback my thoughts.

KevinAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8413854587296254847.post-73868073885842524902013-09-22T21:03:51.061+01:002013-09-22T21:03:51.061+01:00The tasting menu is £95.
